You've probably noticed that most, if not all, of our products have the instructions "Keep frozen, thaw under refrigeration" on the label. If you've been wondering just how long you thaw under refrigeration, then this post is for you.

The first step is to put the product package, unopened, from the freezer to the refrigerator. The basic rules of thumb for how long it takes to thaw our products are:

- Slice packages (like our 8oz Gyro Seitan Slices) typically take a few hours to thaw in the refrigerator

- Whole loaf packages (like our Whole Gyro Seitan) typically take 6 - 8 hours to thaw in the refrigerator

- Some special products that are larger can take up to 24 hours to thaw. Examples of this is our Seiham and Whole Turkee. If we're selling these, we'll be sure to remind you that these take longer to thaw.
